Record a word you rejected

Steps

1. Open the glossary of the bounded context that owns the term, for example billing.glossary.yaml.
2. Find the concept under concepts, for example the concept with id: mehrwertsteuer.
3. Leave prefLabels unchanged. The rejected word never goes into prefLabels or altLabels.
4. Add one entry under hiddenLabels for the rejected word.

        reason: British VAT follows a different law. The translation hides that.
        rejectedOn: '2026-09-08'

5. Write into reason why the word is wrong for this term.
6. Write into rejectedOn the day of the decision, in the format YYYY-MM-DD.
7. Validate the glossary.

Result

A search for VAT leads to the concept mehrwertsteuer and to the reason against the word. The preferred labels of the concept stay as they are.

If a hidden label carries an empty reason, the invariant AHiddenLabelCarriesAReason fires and the document is not conformant.
